what happens next -- where is it going -- what's it all for ?
Incoming goods will be carefully packed, sorted and boxed and palleted. When 40 or so pallets are ready (about 10 tons) a 40' shipping container will be ordered. When it comes, warehouse volunteers stuff it full and send it on its way, first by lorry to Grangemouth, then by way of several container ships to a port near to its final destinations; which is most likely via Turkey to the refugees in and near Idlib in the North-West corner of Syria. With your help, we will keep it all going to people in need. |
